Bal-Tech BAF-60 is a freeze fracture replication system, designated for preparing replicas of f
ractured frozen specimens. Used as a complementary technique to direct imaging cryo-TEM, especially for viscous systems or systems containing micron-scale objects. Freeze and fracture samples can also be transformed in their cryogenic temperature and imaged by cryo-SEM.
